Social Impact Architecture Tour

This morning tour invites PLEA 2026 participants to experience
award-winning social impact projects developed through community engagement and
collaboration with local governments, guided by the architects involved. The itinerary
includes La Cueva de Luz in La Carpio, as well as public space projects realized with the
municipalities of Tibás, Alajuelita, and Curridabat, showcasing how architecture can
strengthen inclusion, spatial justice, and quality of life through locally grounded design
processes.
